The Best Waterfalls to Visit in Tabanan, Bali

1. Sing Sing Angin Waterfall

Start your journey by taking a trip to Sing Sing Angin Waterfall in Manikyang village, located in the center of Tabanan regency, Bali. Here, you will be greeted with a sight of a humble yet irresistible waterfall, covered by luscious green jungle. A view that surely will soothe your eyes. Since the waterfall isn’t really tall, you can safely shower yourself under its refreshing waters while enjoying the view around the waterfall. What’s better, the waterfall is only about 2 minutes walk from the parking area. The sceneries you will encounter as you travel to this beautiful spot are also worthy to be enjoyed. 

2. Blahmantung Waterfall

After you’ve done taking some lovely shots around Sing Sing Angin Waterfall, head over to a secluded waterfall called Blahmantung Waterfall. The waterfall is located on the southwestern edge of Tabanan, about 17 kilometers from Sing Sing Angin Waterfall, particularly in Pujungan village. As you arrive at the place, you will be welcomed with a phenomenal view of a 25-meter high waterfall dropping over to a pristine shallow pond. On top of that, you can also find 2 other similarly stunning waterfalls from this spot. Walk beyond to see a 50-meter high waterfall, or go down to see a smaller waterfall. Reaching the main waterfall might take a little bit of your time because you have to trek your way through a 400 meter footpath from the parking lot. However, we can assure you that the walk through the footpath will not be grueling, as you will traverse through a breezy coffee plantation with a peaceful view. 

3. Pengempu Waterfall

Moving on from Blahmantung Waterfall, another breathtaking waterfall you should see is located in the eastern corner of Tabanan, only about a kilometer to the north of Sangeh Monkey Forest, right in the village of Cau Belayu to be exact. Known as Pengempu Waterfall, the atmosphere you’ll get around here will bring you into a calming state. The air around the waterfall is so comforting, the sound you’ll hear will surely be pleasing to your ears, and the sight of the waterfall tucked within the small cove itself is certainly awe-inspiring. Hidden among the lush greeneries, this narrow and tall waterfall never fails to make anyone who beholds it fall in love. That’s not surprising at all, because the cove that houses this waterfall is so enchanting, especially if the sunlight gleamed on top of the waterfall. Moreover, the cove is filled with fresh air and the pond where the waterfall drops over is filled with wonderful turquoise waters. Before you can reach this stunning waterfall, you have to walk for about 500 meters first. The path that you’re going to take is surrounded by a view of rice fields and gardens, so the walk will certainly be an enjoyable experience.
